MONTE CASSINO explores the effects of war trauma on civilians. Filmmaker Jean Carlomusto interweaves her father's experience growing up during the WWII bombing of Cassino with present day media coverage of 9/11/01, Afghanistan and Iraq to expose the often invisible experience of civilians trapped on the front lines of battle.
